Vedanta is a timeless philosophy which envisages the most positive message that we are inherently Perfect and Blissful. Blinded by a veil of ignorance, we do not realize our own grandeur and allow ourselves to be battered by the vicissitudes of life and day-to-day existence. Vedanta asserts that just like passing clouds can cover up the bright Sun temporarily but cannot diminish its brilliance permanently, life and its challenges cannot affect our Perfect, Blissful Core. Vedanta’s clarion-call of hope and joy infuses a sense of Mastery in us and helps us take control of our lives. Vedanta offers true solace to the human suffering. It is considered as the Lion among the various spiritual paths.
Vedanta is also a very practical system and provides an unfailing methodology to remove this veil of ignorance and realize our Unlimited selves. In the tumultuous times of the modern day, Vedanta offers a way to float above the murky waters of mundane existence with effortless ease and lead life with an unshakeable sense of Mastery and Peace.
In this workshop, Yoga philosopher Ram Vakkalanka takes us thru a fascinating journey thru the six most ancient philosophical systems of the world, focuses on Vedanta, its evolution thru History, its principles and practises, explains how Vedanta is relevant in this day and age and how it can be applied in our day-to-day lives to connect with our Blissful Core and lead a Master’s life.
